"Hi. I'm Kyle. I need a model for my next sculpture in art and a sculpture of you would be a masterpiece, so I was wondering I'd you'd let me get some pictures of you when you have some free time." I smiled at her. She was soooooo gorgeous.

"Hi!" i gave him a sweet smile. "I don't know...(giggle) i've never model before....but i guess.....yeah, ok. But first i like to see your work...if thats ok?
God! He had the most sexiest smiles ever.And he said i could be a masterpiece!
Focus Lyra! Focus!
"So"? I asked when he didn't answer.

Altair1992:

I awoke from the trance I'd been in from looking at her. "Oh yea," I laughed. "Of course, all my tools and the marble and my other works are at home so if you want you ca come over after school. I'll have Mom make us spaghetti."

I raised a perfectly plucked brow at him.
"Huh? Your house?"
I wasn't thinkin bad of him, but it sounded.....u know.....

But then i realized he mentioned his Mom, (and Spaghetti!) and i figured we wouldn't be alone.
(Not that being alone with a total hottie is bad, but i didn't know him that well. Hell! i didn't know him. Period.)

"Ok" But is your Mom really gonna be there?

Altair1992:

"Well yea. She's an artist too and she works from home so she's always there unless she's at a show." I looked at her. "Is that a bad thing?"

"No" I said much to quickly. "I mean....that would be great! That way i can meet her!" I gave him a really heartfelt smile. I didn't want to think on it but his eyes seemed to look into my soul.

Altair1992:

I relaxed. I was so scared she would say no. I had to stop thinking about her though. There's no way a girl like her would ever even give me a second glance. "Alright then. Meet me here after school?" I inqired. I was still scared she might change her mind. Oh please don't let her.

I was sure about 3 things.
One. He was a sweetheart.
Two. I felt weird about going with a guy i'd just met.
Tree. I had to stop thinking about his eyes.
"Ok" I'll meet u here after school" I gave him a sweet smile and got up to the rest of my classes.

Altair1992:

She actually said yes. Oh my god. I waited until she left the room and did a backflip off the table. I couldn't wait until after school. She actually wanted to come over. This must have been a dream. I pinched myself. It wasn't. That made me even happier. The rest of the day passed by in a blur. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I don't know why. It's not like it was anything really. She was just posing for a sculpture. After this, she'd probably never talk to me again. But I hoped she would.

I was headind to the caffeteria. Jeesh! I was shaking. Why was I shaking!?
After all, I ws only gon,na pose for a sculpture. (sigh) Those eyes. They were so......intense......dark and bottomless like the night.
"Focus Lyra, calm yourself" As i said it a force within me helped my nerves and gave me confidence.
Huh. I guess its only a matter of time before it happens. I just hope that it didn't happen while i was with him. That's the last thing i needed. Not again. I cant let my heart betray me again.

I knew what i was. I was proud of it. But sometimes my "gifts", as my Father liked to call them, wre e much more than that...sometimes they could be a great burden to carry and a curse.

"Lets get this over with" (sigh)
I enter the caffeteria and ran into him. Literaly.


Altair1992:

A girl is running at me. I could've held my arms out to catch her. I could have moved out of the way. Instead, I got lost gazing into the beautiful sea that was her eyes and sat there entranced as she ran right into me. I blushed. "Oh ummm hi. I'm glad you could make it." I felt like such an idiot.


"Yeah" Sorry." I whispered." About almost running you over!" I giggled. "Shall we go!?"

Altair1992:

"Don't worry about it," I smiled. "And yea, my car's this way if you need a ride."

Yikes! My guardian was probably waiting for me outside!
I totally forgot about him.
"Hold on a sec, ok?" I have to make a call"
I called Shaun, my personal guardian.
"Yes, My Lady" He sais in his deep, calming voice.
"Shaun?" i'm going home later with a friend ok?" So tell my Mom amd Dad i'll get there soon,"
"My Lady, I will not disobey your father's orders. You must return with me."
" I know" but you wont have too. Just say that you told me but i didnt want to so...I'll talk to Papa later ok? Got to go." I hanged up and look at Kyle.
"Lets go"

Altair1992:

"You're friend didn't sound too happy about this. I won't get shot will I?" I laughed and walked out to the car. "Scratch the paint, and I'll have to kill you," I joked.

I laughed. He was funny, Funny and cute.
"Ook..." I giggled like a silly girl. "Dont worry about him. He's just doing his job." "He always look out for me, thats all"


Altair1992:

"Wow. You have people," I laughed. She was really something else this girl, not to mentiom so far out of my leauge it wasn't funny. Oh well.

I could feel what he was thinking so i decided to say something.
"It's just that my father worries about me and.....you know....me being his only baby girl....." I giggled.
"But dont worry. Someday you'll meet him too." I gave him a sweet smile.


Altair1992:

"What makes you say that?" Her perfume was intoxicating. Like raindrops sliding off the petals of a rose. I hit the gas and drove to my house.

"Just saying..." I guess it would only be fair if you met my parents too. I'm going to meet ur Mom." I looked at him. His eyes were strange. Light but dark. heaven but earth. Wow! they were beautiful. I looked away quickly. I was hoping to get out of the car so we weren't so close. It made me nervous.

Altair1992:

"Your dad won't like shoot me or anything right? I mean he's got a bodyguard assigned to you so he's probably a tad protective of his little girl you know?" I smiled. "We're here." I pulled into the driveway and got out of the car to open her door.


Ok. i'll admit it. That was totally cute. I felt like a princess. Well...I WAS a princess, he didnt know that, but i felt like the kind a handsome prince escorts to a dance.
I got out and looked at him.
"Thanx. That was...ummm, galant of you" Ugh. I was such a dork. "I mean, (cleared my throat)..very nice of you"

I was so nervous. Really. He made me feel like that.

Altair1992:

"Well that makes me feel better," I laughed. "Guess I'll have to wait until the second date to die." I blushed. "I mean.....ummmmmm.....until we go to your house." Why did I say date? What was I doing. Why did she make me all jelloey?

I giggled again. "Ook. How about i meet your Mom and get to the pictures?"
What!? He said date! Oh my god. Why was i so warm and tingly inside?
