Hunted by Darkness (X)

His kiss had been intense, fiery, sweet and sour. My lips were warm and cold at the same time. My hands were shaking by the heat of his body. I stood there looking at the night sky to which he just flew to. I felt it. I knew that deep inside a part of him felt more for me than it knew.
I heard footsteps. I turned around and saw Sheera.
"Oh my God....what...wha?'" She said breathesly. "I cant believe it."
"Long story...come on...ill tell you" I said. "but first help me with the demon. He is unconcious."
"Where should we take him to?"
"Kristian mention an old werehouse not far from here." We'll take him there."
We grabbed the demon and took him to the werehouse. We chained him up to a wall. Then Sheera stopped time and space around the chains so he could not escape. I clapped my hands and created a wave of energy. It flew directly to his chest and he gave a gasp and his eyes fluttered open. He seemed surprised at the sight of us, but also impressed and a little cocky.

Altair1992:

I was chained up against a wall. The Angels had charms casted around me. Fools. They think the can control me. I could get out of those chains if i wanted and ripped them apart.But i was curious about the Warrior. She was powerful, no doubt. But she was weakend by the spell she casted at me. That, i could take advantage of.
" You cannot hold me for long, Warrior." I laughed.
"Be silence, you spawn from Hades!!" You are talking to a Warrior!!!" Snapped the other one. I didnt reconized her. She must be her friend.
I laughed. She was a fierce one. I like it. I could tempt her and steal her powers to.
"It's okay Sheera, I will deal with him" Said the Warrior. She met my eyes.
"Tell me your name , Demon." She commanded.
'You already know the answer, Angel." Why dont you tell me yours." I said.

I looked at his eyes. He had a cocky grin on his face. But i decided to answer him.
"Kayna." She's Sheera, And you are Samael. Introductions made" I said. "And dont even think about trying to escape..." I raised an eye brow and my eyes flashed black. "You are not going anywhere. Not on my watch."
I looked to Sheera. "Set a perimeter outside. Keep your eyes open."
She nodded without taking her eyes off Samael. She backed out and left the warehouse.
He kept grinning at me. I got closer to him, arms wrapped around. He smelled like sulfur, and ashes, and something i could not quite make out.
"I know what you've been doing, and i am not gonna ask you why....I just wanna know who you been dealing with?" I asked.

Tago:

Sighing as I flied, I thought about times past. Where life was so much simpler. Where I could look into those eyes without the pain that had filled me mere moments ago.
The demon... His name was... I think for a moment... "Dammit. She's in trouble. Looks like I'll have to see her again."

In seconds, I have sniffed out their location. Opening the warehouse door was the easy part. Battling hand-to-hand with the elite guard took a little more skill. I parry the Warrior to my left grabbing her by the neck and swinging her around to throw her into the next guard. Two more guards emerged before I could take two steps. "More of you guys?" They charge at the same time. Too easy. I unfurl my wings and fly right over them and straight to where I can smell the tainted blood of the demon Samael.
"Kayna! Stop!" I yell when I see her, "Step away from him!"

I heard the fight unfolding outside but didnt moved, i couldnt. I heard the werehouse doors burst open and turned around when he said my name. "Tago? Wha', what are you doing here?" I was surprised.
In came running Sheera and 4 more Sons of Glory, swords and bows at the ready. Sheera was bleeding.
"What are you doing here?" I asked again. This time really pissed off.

Tago:

"You don't know what he is capable of!" I yelled as I get stuck with an arrow. "I do, I've lived with them!"
I quickly mutter under my breath and make a pentagram in the air and pushing it toward Samael. The air shivers and Samael is turned immobile.
"Don't underestimate him..." I said as I fell to the ground with an arrow in my back.

I screamed and ran to him. I looked for the one who shot the arrow. I saw Sheeras face got pale and her eyes widened. "Why did you do that?" I was on the brink of tears.
"He hurt me , Kayna. He almost killed me." Besides, you are not supposed to feel sorry for him, its not like it has feelings anyway." Said Sheera with disgust in her voice.
I looked up at her and my eyes flashed black and red. I didnt meant it, but i could not help it.
" You dont even know him" I said grinding my teeth. "We'll talk about this later"
I looked down at him. God, i still loved him. Willing myself not to cry, i closed my eyes and placed my hand over his heart. A blue glow emerged and warmed his body. He opened his eyes and met mine.
"We gotta stop meeting like this." I manage to smile a little.

Tago:

"If it that is how we must meet, so be it. Don't be too harsh on the girl, she was only doing her duty." I said as I tried to sat up before falling back into Kayna's lap with a wince of pain.
"Looks like it's gonna take more than you powers to heal me this time."

"There's a way." I looked at Sheera.
"Oh no, no way, Kayna!!!" She said.
"Yes way, You did this, you are gonna fix it." I looked at her eyes. I didnt move my lips but my voice was carried across the floor and she heard inside her head."You owe me."
She met my eyes for a long time. Then she answer me back. Her voice in my head."Fine, i'll do it, but just because i know how much it means to you."
Then she looked down at Tago and said. "If you get yourself almost killed again...you are on your own." She kneeled down beside us. "Tell me what to do."
"Put you hands on his shoulders."She did so as I layed my hands on his chest, close to his heart. I could feel it pounding against my hands. Softly, warm, the same heart once filled with love. I met his eyes. He looked at mine for only a second and i swear i saw the guy i fell in love with somewhere deep inside, but he looked away quickly and closed them as he winced in pain.
I looked up at Sheera. She nodded. A blue and purple glow emerged from our hands and carresed his body.

" I call upon the wind, to come and swift his pain, to warm and confort him so he may rise again..."

As we said the incantation he gave a gasp and his body relaxed. He opened his eyes and met mine. They were as blue and deep as the depths of the ocean.

Tago:

I bring my hand to meet her face, caressing it softly. "I wish it were different. I wish that I was still a Warrior. If there were any way for that to happen, painful or not, I would do it in a heartbeat." I say then pause as if thinking, "If only I could turn back time, redo what we've done, make it different so that I could still be a Warrior." I look into her eyes, "but you know that is impossible..."

I cupped his hand on mine. "I wish that too, with all the pieces of my heart..." I blinked hard trying not to cry. I knew he was right. But i still loved him.... Always. I looked down at his eyes. "You should go.....the other Warriors will be here soon...I dont want them to find you. I got closer to him. "I dont want to see you get hurt....I dont think my heart could bare it..."

Tago:


"Then I must go..." I say before pulling her down into a kiss.
I then, as quickly as I can, get out of the warehouse, but not before calling back, "You still need to stay away from the demon, and don't look in his eyes."
With my departure the spell cast on the demon fades.

His kiss had been deep, rough, but at the same time was sweet and gentle. It left me.....bewitched......(for lack of a better word.) I heard what he said. "Dont look at his eyes and stay away from him..." Easy for him to say. I had to be close to him. He was my mision.
I looked at Samael. He was stirring. "You guys better get ready...He wont be happy when he wakes up..." I called to all the Warriors.

Altair1992:

I was inmobilized by the pentagram Tago casted. That traitor. I would snap his neck as soon as i get a chance. The spell was loosing his efect and i was regaining conciousness again. Damn spell. It was strong, but soon he will have a taste of what i'm capable, they all will.

Tago:

I never really left. I had hidden behind a wall. Listening to the activities within. "I promise, I will never leave you alone and able to be harmed. This I solemnly swear to in the name of all Gods." I mutter under my breath.

"WARRIORS! READY YOUR WEAPONS!" I commanded.
With a swift movement the Arch Angels took battle positions. I knew Hell would break loose. Samael stirred...the moment he opened his eyes a flash of crimson consumed all lights. We heard the rustling sound of wings and the sound of chains breaking. Then, nothing.....a tomblike silence fell upon us as we narrowed our eyes trying to make something out of the darkness.

Thats when it happened...all Hell did broke loose....screams filled the air, agony and pain.....and something hard to miss.....blood. Swords clashed like thunders and the ground trembled. I saw the battle that had unleashed before me. Sheera and 2 of the Warriors were lying on the floor near a pile of broken boxes, Sheera's head was bleeding heavily. The other 2 Warriors were fighting Samael. They were no match for him. With a gesture he sent them across the warehouse and his eyes met mine. His lips were curved by a feral and diabolic smile. His wings spread on his back majestically and flew towards me. He landed in front of me so hard the ground cracked beneath his feet...he grabbed me by my neck so easily and lifted me of the ground. I could see the pleasure of torturing reflected in his eyes. He trew me across the floor and picked me up again. I was gasping for air and my feet kept kicking and holding on for dear life. Damn he was strong. I was a powerful warrior, trained to hunt and kill, but he had dark powers i knew nothing of. A crimson smoke gushed from his hand. It began intoxicating my skin, my blood, my soul....

I felt my life leaving me as i struggled in his arms...i fought with all the strengh in me, but his dark magic had drained the little i had.

Tago:

As soon as I heard the battle ensue I rushed in, meeting a barrier. Swearing, I charge the barrier building up the magical energy around me.
Crashing through the barrier, I entered a scene of gore. I look around finding Samael throwing Kayna around like a puppet. "SAMAEL!!" I call. He seems to preoccupied trying to choke the life out of my love.
"Samael! Why don't you face your pupil!" I call, finally getting his attention. "Why don't you see if I have surpassed you!"
Grinning, he drops Kayna in a heap. I pick up a fallen sword, mending it and shaping it to serve my needs. "Come on, old man! I've learned a few new tricks."

Altair1992:

I grinned maliciously at him. "Come then, pupil. Let your master teach you a lesson." A sword appeared in my hand. A blade of the darkest black, it consumed all the light around this. "Do you know what this is? It's the sword of Lucifer. I took it from his body after I drained his powers." I laughed maniacally and and cut the air with the sword. A wave of darkness overtook Tago.

I was laying somewhere rocklike and cold. My head was spining like crazy. I tried to move but my body had gone numb. I tried to open my eyes but everything went black and blurry. I felt dizzy, nauseaous, hurt. I stirred as much as my body allowed me. I heard a sound near me. I made an effort and open my eyes. All i could make was darkness and my own pain. But i could smell something unmistakeable. Sulfur. I pull all my strengh, what little i had left and got up. I draw energy from inside and blew some to the darkness,the lights went on again. What i saw terrified me and gave me the strengh i needed.
Tago was lying on the floor, bleeding from a wound on his neck. Samael was kneeling beside him with his eyes closed and his hands raiced as if he was imploring forgiveness. I knew, of course, he was not, but that was not what terrified me, it was the horror of what he was doing. His hands were wreched with blood. Tago's crimson and warm blood. He was draining his powers....he was going to kill him.
At that moment everything inside me changed. I was completly aware of things. I haled my self with everything i could channel. I was really pissed off and ready to hunt and kill once and for all.

"Hey You!" Why dont we finish what we started?" I yelled at Samael. I was healing fast. I was regaining my powers again.

He opened his eyes and turned in direction of my voice. With an evil laugh, he got up and walked to me with a cocky attitute, like he owned the world. I ready my sword and look straight into his eyes, although Tago told me not to. Tago....my chest hurt at the very sight of him laying on the floor, bleeding, almost dead....No! I could not bare the though of it. I was ready for this. I've always been ready....

Altair1992:

"Aaaahhh yes. The power of light. It so easily rips through darkness doesn't it? But it doesn't do a thing against light. And since I've got both, I'd guess that means you're pretty well fucked now doesn't it?" I laughed as half the blade turned white and gave off a pure light. "Do you really think you can beat me?" I had to be wary of this girl. I would not underestimate her, but maybe she would underestimate me if she though I was truly so arrogant. "COME!!!" I roared and the foundations of the warehouse shook from the force of my voice.

Tago:

Slowly, I was able to defeat the darkness that had invaded my mind. I stood up slowly, "Darkness cannot exist in the same place as light, and neither light in a place of dark."
I looked straight at Samael's back then proceed to tell Kayna, "That is what you told me! His light is just a fake!"
I draw my sword which had begun to shine with light. I stand up, at full strength now, and dash at Samael. "Kayna, with me!"

Altair1992:

"Dost thou know nothing Tago? Light and dark coexist. One canst not exist without the other. If thou truly believes that mine light is fake, thou shalt be very disappointed."
Why did I ever take in such a stupid apprentice in the first place.

I ran to a wall, climbed it and jumped. As i slashed tru the air with my katana, my powers were fully restored. I landed facing Samael's back. "Yes, You've made stupid choices. One of them, was to mess with me..." I whispered putting my sword against his neck, my other hand making his chin face up. I was ready to rip it in two. "So...i am going to ask you this one. more. time. The way i see it you got two choices. One: Tell me who you've been dealing with and trading powers, or Two: I kill you and figure it out by myself. So again.... Which is going to be, demon?

Tago:

"Unless you want your neck slit, I'd advise you to tell her, master." I say with a smirk. "And just so you know. If light and dark could coexist then why are heaven and hell split?"
I then bring my sword to sheath. "I don't think he's going to tell you anything. You might as well just kill him now."

"Oh, he will, and if he doesnt....I have ways to get it out of him..." I said mysteriosly.
I ran down my sword to just a little above his inner thighs. "Word on heaven is your using your......"charmness" to lure witches into bed and drained all of their powers......so, i suggest you get on with telling me." I whispered in his ear.
